Service Learning

One of the things we’ve learned about HLC programs is that they can have a variety of different messengers and still be implemented with fidelity and success. HLC has worked with high schools to train pairs of high school students to assist teachers in implementing HLC programming. We’ve also recently partnered with nursing and pharmacy schools, providing important student field experience while giving schools an alternative implementation model.

We’d like to thank two local universities for their ongoing partnership with HLC – the Louisiana State University School of Nursing and Xavier University School of Pharmacy Professional Experience Program.
