HLC Pre K

Program Overview

Developed in collaboration with the American Health Foundation, HLC Pre-K Program is a Pre-K behavioral-health curriculum designed to introduce healthy behaviors to young children. Most lessons are introduced through children’s authentic literature and circle group activities. Small and large group activities are also offered to introduce social/emotional, cognitive and physical learning experiences. The program meets all curriculum guidelines for developmentally appropriate practices established by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
